Michelle Obama Debuts New 'Do, Cool Kicks At World Series Game (PHOTOS)

Michelle Obama and Jill Biden enjoyed a girls' night out on Wednesday when they attended Game 1 of the World Series. Earlier in the day the women paid a visit to the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx. While there Mrs. Obama debuted an elegant new slicked-back hairdo; Jill Biden sported a classic all-American look.

Later in the evening, the women donned black slacks and World Series jackets.

I agree that Jill Biden does carry the all-American look really well. I love how she adds classy little touches to her outfits, in this case those kickin' boots. She's always feminine.

What's the, "All-American Classic" look? In my view, this is an example of classic, stereotypical, elitist description rather than descriptive style detail as you used in the case of Mrs. Obama. Note: Mrs. Obama's style is, "All- American" as well. By the way what does, "All-American" mean anyway????

Uh Jenny, Rush preaches to the choir. He is also very disliked by the vast majority of the American people. Just because a little less than one million people hear him at any given hour, does not mean that he is popular. If Rush is so popular, and influential, why did Barack Obama win in a landslide? Obama won by three times the popular vote margin your boy Bush did in either of his elections. Bush never got more than 286 electoral votes. Obama got 365.

Michelle was married when she got pregnant and delivered her two girls.

These ladies look great in there own right, there isn't a need to compare, Why? there aren't any similarities to be compared. Their styles are different and seperate of each other. The great thing about style is that its yours to rock any way you want to and that's what makes it yours and I think they both rock their individual styles well.

The title of the article is so misleading, it states the First Lady "debuts a new do", most people of color wouldn't consider this a new do at all because we all understand the versitility we have with our hair, but to those who do not this is new. A "new do" to many AA would be cut, color, curls,braids, twist, waves and so much more, a dramatic change, not simply combing your hair a different way. It's not racist its simply not having an understanding of black texture & style. This is not a reason to be upset, but educate. As a black woman, I'm often asked many questions about our hair, do I like the questions? not all the time, but a chance to enlighten others on the true AA culture is better then leaving it open to ignorant interperation.

No one color has the market on style, just because you don't understand anothers doesn't make it bad. Look at these two women neither are in the catagory of embarassement. There are some out there that can be embarassing but neither one these women fit
