Marine Mammal Conservation Through The Arts is producing a documentary about Bryant Austin, a photographer whose life-size photographs of endangered whale species are touring the world and inspiring awareness about these amazing animals. Austin free dives and gets within 6 feet of the whales, often spending months developing relationships with them.

Beautiful photos of these magnificent animals. Whales must be appreciated and not slaughtered, they deserve our protection as do dolphins and other cetaceans.

I love that Brian Austin spent many months creating relationships with the whales. His sensitivity and artistry are gifts that extend beyond the visual impact of his work. This is intensely difficult photography that reflects his expertise as well as his heartspace.
