Kid Reporter Damon Weaver Now Working On Bringing Peace To The Middle East

Superstar kid reporter Damon Weaver, having achieved the interview with President Obama that our own Sam Stein could only dream of getting, has trained his sights on even more impressive goals: bringing about Middle East peace. Everyone in America loves this kid, so let's hope it translates globally.

Weaver appeared yesterday on the U.S.-sponsored, Arabic language channel al Hurra TV. There, he was a guest on Al Youm, a three-hour news broadcast seen across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, to discuss his meeting with President Obama. Before signing off, Weaver offered viewers some goodwill wishes:

WEAVER: I would just like to say that there is a lot of violence in the town that I live in. I have tried to help my town by creating a report for ABC News about the violence that occurs there. When I watch the news I'm always hearing about the violence that happens in the Middle East. I just want to say that I hope everyone in the world can get along and let's have Peace in the Middle East.
