SLJ just caught up with Kinney to talk about his book tour, why he's keeping his day job--and yes, the fact that a fifth book is in the works.

My 9 year old son struggles with Dyslexia, and generally does not enjoy reading that much. He does, however, LOVE the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. He has read and tested on all the books for AR points. He is in third grade, and I think the Diary books are a 5th grade level, and he scores well really well - which shows me he really enjoys the books. I also think the drawings help him put words in context. Great Series!

I have a 9-year-old (too) and a 7-year-old. My 9YO who has always struggled with reading is now avidly reading this series. My 7YO loves them as well.

All I can say is: Keep 'em coming, Greg.

My 11 year old daughter absolutely loves his books and I can't get her to sit still long enough to read in general. Kudos to the author.

Agreed. My 11 year old son is absolutely in love with this series. You've done a great job, Greg. We cannot say enough about authors who actually make kids want to read. Can't wait for the next book!
