This Administration has over-promised in an epidemic fashion. "Bad Information". Blame the intelligence masquerade. All the energy this White House expends on avoidance, whether it is their campaign pledges or GOP disfavor would be comical if it were not for the suicidal nature inherent in the political outcome.

The Blue Dogs and the junkyard dogs of the GOP have ZERO fear of this president and will continue to poke him in the eye. While I do believe the origins of this chronic disrespect stems from insecure white male syndrome and latent or blatant racism, Obama is definitely rewarding the behaviors of these embarrassments. Obama acts like a victim of abuse. Claiming change while maintaining a focus on placating the antagonist. The abuser's contempt grows and those who tried to help the victim begin to pull back as they realize their efforts mean nothing to the victim at least until the light can be seen.

So what's new, as every single politician either lies, or as is now being stated, "Over promised!"

Taken out of context , as usual.Fox news are the masters of this. The makers of the vaccine told the administration how much of the vaccine could be distributed and by what date. They promised the administration. The administration simply trusted the makers to know what they were doing and relayed that to the public.

And I doubt if anyone literally promised specifically the exact amount that would be ready by a specific date. The makers looked that the amount they could produce and in what time frame. They were wrong.

The media is the biggest problem this country is facing. Real journalism is a thing of the past. Breaking stories without credible sources and constantly taking out of context , statements that are made by both parties.

If you buy their excuse. I pretty much saw through it right away. Think about that for a minute. They could have been interfering with the truth! Wow, what a concept. But they told us they would always be transparent and tell us the truth. They told us we could use the WH urinal any old time, just drop by. Michelle would be sure to have some hot cookies ready for us. Had, you've been. It's okay though, it happens to the best of us, we're only human after all.

BTW, none of this has anything to do with Fox news. It happens to be NPR. A "real" news outlet. The headline should have read, " Axelrod shows the pharmaceutical the underside of the bus in attempt to deflect public anger about vaccine shortage." So stop deflecting. Or go to plan B and blame Bush, Cheney, Reagan or Palin. Maybe even Rush.

Why do you think? It is less about over promised and more about outsourcing. Pharmaceutical produce capacity abroad. Where do you think the vaccines go? To the highest bidder. Capitalism at his finest.

Er, Jazzman, the vaccine was promised by private companies. They screwed up, unless you somehow think that Obama and Axelrod were busy in the Whit House basement producing the stuff themselves.
Private enterprise? Yep, as efficient as private health insurance, GM, AIG, Citibank, et cetera.

Yea,. The pharmaceutical companies are doing such a great job this year and past years leave them in charge next year.

If you had been to a website recently to attempt to buy health insurance, then you would understand why national health care, even poorly run by the government, is needed. Individuals not covered by employer plans pay a lot for practically nothing.

There it is. I'm confused. There are only two options right? Do nothing or let the govt have it? That's wrong. Those are the only two choices they have presented to us. Fox news has, in true journalistic fashion, presented some of the others. I don't know if you've heard about them or not, because somebody told you Fox was bad.

But to summarize, There are many ways they could introduce choice AND competition into the market, without the false type of choice and competition they keep referring to. (See Boehner. Or don't see Boehner, which I predict is more likely.) They could actually increase our feeling of liberty (dangerous, I know, since so many of us are far to ignorant and stupid to make decisions for ourselves) by allowing inter-state ins purchase, tighteneing up the reins even a little on the medical malpractice suits, and allowing us to keep some of our income, tax free for medical costs. HSA in other words.

The kind of choice and competition proposed by the government is really a legislative battle on private ins companies. But it would not be good for them to do the other things being proposed, because they want more power over us. The last thing they want is to actually increase our freedom. It's the ugliest form of human weakness rearing its head - greed for power.

Any time there was a problem they would blame someone else anyway, and some of these shills would totally buy it. It's funny to watch, and a little sad.

I still remember everybody SCREAMING because Bush was late with much of the flu-shots in 2004. Now this Obama Administration has blundered in getting enough flu-shots and vaccines out and the same critics from then are now deafening with their SILENCE.-----again, the old double-standard.

BTW, its unfair we can't even vaccinate the majority of our children and seniors now but every detainee at GITMO is getting a H1N1 shot if they want one. Explain that?

mmmmmm.............. Barack Hussein Overpromise........mmmmmmm!

"WASHINGTON (AP) - An early progress report on President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan overstates by thousands the number of jobs created or saved through the stimulus program, a mistake that White House officials promise will be corrected in future reports."

The AP review found some counts were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of jobs; some jobs credited to the stimulus program were counted two and sometimes more than four times; and other jobs were credited to stimulus spending when none was produced.

An example is the bridge near my home which has the neighborhood hoppin' mad. You know, they have the green sign up that its an example of our American recovery act (Stimilus Plan). They've been there for months only they haven't been. They work maybe one or two days a week at most but they keep everything overthere (construction cones and vehicles, etc.). And they in reality haven't even filled a pot-hole yet but block off 2 lanes. Just taking taxpayers money without doing anything. A joke. But the joke's on us.

Couldn't even run Cash for Clunkers, now mishandling the roll out of the flu vaccine. This is a precursor of how the government will run the lives of it's citizens.
