Lindsay Lohan Slams Dad Michael, Eyes Restraining Order

Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter to slam her dad as a 'lunatic' as the NY Post reports she and her mother are taking Michael to court for a restraining order and over overdue child support. Michael recently claimed his elder daughter was on death's doorstep and is hooked on drugs.

On Friday Lohan tweeted, over 5 tweets:

My father is a lunatic&doesn't even deserve such a title since he's never been around in my life other than when he'd threaten me&my family
He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life-behind bars. Its so sad to get

Meanwhile, Sunday's New York Post reports that Lindsay and mom Dina may seek a restraining order on Monday "following Michael's statement that he wanted to kidnap her and force her into rehab," and that he's way behind on child support for his younger two kids with Dina.

"He is also six months behind in his child support. On Monday, we will file a violation order, and if he doesn't pay, he'll go to jail.

"He's getting paid for these shows he's doing talking about Lindsay," Dina said. "He's flying all over the country and not paying for his other three children he's hurting every time he goes on television.

Lohan is now in Morocco, earning a paycheck to show up at a resort opening.

You know, this is what we have DEvolved to. People that were famous for virtually nothing living out their personal drama for public consumption. This girl's mother is nothing more than a fame seeker herself, doing anything and everything to pimp her kids to the last dime. Lindsay is so out of it, she's the consequence of parents who seek fame instead of stability. Whatever shred of an acting career she had is gone, and her only friend is the pipe. I personally don't care what happens to any of them, but between her, the Gosselins, Octo-h-o-e, and all the rest of the famous for naught crowd, your 15 minutes are up. The clock stopped ticking a long time ago. Time to go back to your lives OUT of the limelight.

Even if he's a deadbeat her sister isn't going to starve or have financial neglect. It's not a typical situation when a guy doesn't pay child support.

The support should match the child's needs, not the mother's. LiLo can support herself. He and his ex-wife should be compelled to attend family counseling, but only if LiLo chooses to do so. She's old enough to tell her folks to go tinkle up a stick.

I paid child support for 19 years. If he is behind--make him pay or go to prison.

How will you get the money if he is in jail. I am all for making people pay child support. But I don't think going to jail should even be on the books. Some people get behind if they lose their job, get sick, or have other issues.

In all fairness he has none of those excuses. He has the money and he can pay it...and it is mandated by the court. Why should he get away with thumbing his nose at the law? I do favor using incarceration, over a short term, to inspire parents who shirk their parental duties to step up. I only think it should be used in instances where the non payment is willful, however. Having said that, my sons dad never paid more that $400 in child support from the time my son was 5 until this day and I never put his sorry @*s in jail. He was crazy enough. I was just glad to be rid of him.

It's been said that for celebrities, there is no such thing as bad publicity. I beg to differ.

While I think a man has an obligation to care for his children... What purpose does throwing him in jail serve? "Only in America"! "Two thumbs up." [Insert sarcasm and wry grin.]

A court can throw anyone in jail if that person is found in contempt of court. True for almost any type of case. Actually, only in America, do many children get support from deadbeat dads, because we passed laws to make it easy to find those fathers and enforce court orders against them.

Lindsay Lohen is clearly someone who did not have a functional childhood. Her father is pathetic to go on tv, for paid appearances, to prophesize her early death. Her mother doesn't seem that great either. Poor girl.
