Sir Harold Evans, former king of old media -- he was the long-time editor of the UK's Sunday Times -- was on Good Morning America this morning to talk about his new book, My Paper Chase. The self-described "newspaper junkie" ("They haven't found a cure yet," he says) spoke about his famous coverage of the thalidomide disaster, how many papers he reads each day, and what it's like to get fired in your 50's.
You can read an excerpt from My Paper Chase at the Good Morning America website.
What do you think? How much longer will Evans be relevant in the media world?
