No funeral, wiping off shaheed from the tombstone. Can anyone say Shah and SAVAK?

They did the same.

It is hard to believe that such beautiful woman, with so much potential, has been taken from us.

When you see folks in a country demonstrating with signs in English (unless of course it's the UK or Ireland), you know the demonstrators' intended audience is an English speaking country. Not their own.

Or the World. Look up lingua franca sometime and consider the status of English in world politics, business, culture, etc.

Fair enough, I thought the Nobel would have been a nice touch is awarded posthumously to Neda as a symbol of all those who still march.

Nevertheless, I think you're just bitter.

Neda's courage should inspire us to be better ourselves. Like Patrick Tillman, she had courage in the sights of a gunman who lacked restraint. We don't want to lose people like these. When we do, we must keep the courage the shared with all of us.

Not to sound insensitive, but why is this the headline while Saudi Arabia bombing civilians in Yemen is moved down the front page?

I'm glad you brought this up. Those were not "civilians" as you put it. They are Shiitte rebels funded and trained and armed by the Islamic Republic. IRan is trying to create Sunni-Shia divide in order to deestablize the region.

You're partially right. I should have been clearer.

Saudi Arabia is definitely targeting the Shi'ite rebels. But civilians are also getting bombed and killed. Do you deny this?

With the help of a unique network of correspondents in and out of the country, FRONTLINE investigates the life and death of the woman whose image remains a potent symbol for those who want to keep the reform movement alive.

At the height of the protests following Iran’s controversial presidential election this summer, a young woman named Neda Agha Soltan was shot and killed on the streets of Tehran. Her death--filmed on a cameraphone, then uploaded to the web--quickly became an international outrage, and Agha Soltan became the face of a powerful movement that threatened the hardline government’s hold on power.
