I absolutely adored Slumdog Millionaire. That being said I find it how convenient she finds Patel her soul mate after dumping her long time fiance after she became famous.
Ah, young love. . . sigh.
I still remember my love when I was 20 yrs old. We were together for 4 yrs and I still think of him as my soulmate. I was too young to realize it then and left him. I married another right after. I am now 50, a single mom (have been for 19 yrs). I hope they cherish what they have. I would like to believe it can happen twice in a lifetime, but I don't.
Have you tried to reconnect? Seriously - facebook, reunions, etc? Maybe he still thinks of you, too.
Thanks. I have looked him up. He had his 30th university reunion earlier this year (we met there but I was 2 years younger) and he was not on the list of attendees. And he's not on Facebook. A friend of a friend recently told me that he's married so I've stopped looking.

Am I the only one who thinks this is all a publicity stunt? I'm thinking they are just like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Together they get more attention - apart, not so much (at least in Vanessa's case).
They're soulmates until they break up next year and start dating other people. Those Bollywood marriages don't last.
