Perhaps this is a form of communism that does not have anything to do with Carl Marx. I can't imagine he would approve.

All he's missing is a big metal spider.

FDR had a couple of private and secret stations himself.

I guess that's the Communist imperative at work. Each according to his needs. Little Kim must need 19 stations. It's good of the North Koreans to be so accommodating to their supreme leader and his needs with nearly 8 million threatened by starvation.

Apparently the Chinese refer to him behind his back as a 'Siry Iriot'.

Kim Jong Il has a big job to do. The foreign interlopers and running dogs of free market fundamentalists who want to break open his market and depose his family won't rest in their efforts to subvert him. What is he supposed to do, if not maintain order and national security for his people? We all know what American free market fundamentalists will do to humiliate other nations. It begins with humiliating their leader.

And he wants internet pretty much to himself as well..

"I'm an Internet expert too. It's all right to wire the industrial zone only, but there are many problems if other regions of the North are wired." -- North Korean Supreme Commander Kim Jong-il

Not everyone has to be in a hurry to embrace this disruptive new technology. Some day he may be heralded as a visionary of cultural preservation for not being in such a hurry to embrace such a cultural mutagen.

Yet, here you are using it.
I like Finland's take on it. Internet is a human right..

Kim cannot even feed his own population, so of course he will have trouble with things like electricity and internet. And human rights.

Give the guy a break, he didn't have a train set when he was child. Well now he's got one and some nukes of his own.

How much food - does this - take away from his people? How many people die of famine and disease - because of this money being spent on train stations.......inhuman dictators still flourish in this world - and always will....it's the brutes that survive - and the people that die.......
