Applebees, Krispy Kreme, Other Chains Offer Free Food To Military On Veterans Day

Several restaurant chains are offering active duty military free meals or other products on Veterans Day.

Applebee's is offering free meals with proof of military service. Golden Corral is doing the same, and supporting this effort with a series of PSAs starring Gary Sinise, Bo Derek and Collective Soul. It might not fill you up, but Outback Steakhouses are offering a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage for members of the military.

Have a sweet tooth after that Fire Pit Bacon Burger or Fiesta Lime Chicken? Get a free doughnut at a participating Krispy Kreme.
