Denzel Washington's son Malcolm played his first basketball game as a member of the University of Pennsylvania tonight, and the movie star attended to cheer his son on. Wearing a black Yankees cap and Patagonia fleece, the AP reports that Washington went "virtually unnoticed in the Jordan Center crowd." Malcolm did not play and his team lost to Penn State, 70-55.

i go to the same school as one of his daughters (she's in one of my classes), and she's really cool. i'd love it if he ever came to campus! in the meantime, however, i'm definitely going see him when he comes to Broadway in "Fences", in April.
