I can't wait to download my Google Crhome OS! The sooner - the better.

I'm kinda curious also. But the operating system field looks crowded all of a sudden. Sounds like they may focus initially on the netbook market but even that market is pretty well served with Win 7 ,XP and many Linux distros.

To launch in a week? How are they dropping an OS and they still can't get the Google Chrome browser to render webpages correctly?? Don't get me wrong, Linux is my OS of choice but they haven't proven they can do much beyond email and search. And even their search has fallen off.
