Heidi Klum Debuts HOT Post-Baby Body (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 03/18/2010 5:12 am Updated: 05/25/2011 2:45 pm

Heidi Klum stepped out on the runway at the Victoria's Secret fashion show Thursday night, just five weeks after giving birth to daughter Lou Samuel.

This isn't her first post-baby public appearance. She showed off her thighs in fishnets and thigh-high boots when she dressed up as a crow for Halloween with husband Seal.

Klum said on Wednesday that she still needs to lose 20 pounds, but she looks pretty good here in her runway corset, an LBD she wore on the red carpet and a body-hugging leather dress she slipped into for the after party.

Quick Poll

Does Heidi need to lose 20 pounds?

Yes, she will look better

Not 20, but maybe a few

Not a pound, she's perfect right now

Looking great after having a baby = One more important advantage of good prenatal care.

I didn't know she has a tattoo on her arm, her legs are amazing, and I don't think what wore in the VS fashion show counts as a corset.

I think her wanting to lose 20lbs has more to do with what she is comfortable carrying on her frame, not with how she looks. 20lbs is a lot of weight. If you don't think so, go grab a 20lb dumbbell. Try lugging it around for a day. Granted, it's spread all over her body. But it's still more than what she is used to.

I gained 50lbs with each of my 3 kids. After my 3rd one, weighed 175. Even though I'm 6' 0'', being 175 was hard on my body. Once I got back down to pre-pg weight of 140, I felt so much better.

Heidi is beautiful just the way she is.

What a shame hollywood does not celebrate the baby as opposed to the size dress the woman must fit in after the birth. These celebrities complain about the expectation from hollywood yet they are the ones who keep perpetuating the expectation. First it was who is the thinnest after three months of giving birth, now it is three weeks, next it would be who has the flattest tummy the next day after giving birth. No wonder there are so many dysfunctional kids who become dysfunctional adults in our society because mum is too busy with her personal trainer than to see to the baby's needs. I wish one celebrity who would step up and embrace her bloated tummy after giving birth instead of getting her personal trianer on speed dial.

She is paid to sell a fantasy. If your job is to look good, and you have all day working on it, then you would do what it takes to earn a living.
Heidi is the hardest working girl in the fashion business, she knows her days as a model are numbered, and she has a big family to take care of. Besides that, I think that if a women lives healthy during pregnancy there is not much weight to drop after the baby. Many "non famous" women look great after giving birth, and have to go back to work right away as well, unfortunately, because there is not much of a family leave policy in this country.

Heidi is a beautiful supermodel and businesswoman with a wonderful family and what appears to be a very happy marriage.

I wonder how many people can claim that...

Instead of spending all her time working out RIGHT after having a baby, don't you think she would want to spend time with it?

SHE'S ONLY 35. And she's a supermodel.

She damn better look good! Otherwise I'd be concerned.

I think the clothing is hiding the fact that a little more work is in order if she wants to model at that level.
She can get away with it because of who she is, but if an up-and-coming newbie looked like that she would be rejected outright.

Repeat: IF she wants to model at that level.

What would really help her to look better is if she could take care of that rash on the inside of her right arm and that nail fungus that has extend all the way down her right fingers.

Heidi looks good. That rubber dress looked hot, but they should have "Photoshopped" the odd-looking distortion of her under-arm.

That would have been an example of a retouching job that would not have been deceptive about women's body image (unlike the controversial image retouching which make a woman's body look stick-thin).

Heidi Klum should keep it going. She's setting a good example of how a woman's beauty and charisma are not lost after age 25. She has a good attitude, but people need to keep taking her seriously in spite of the fact that she has a good sense of humor.

If you compare Hedi to your average woman, yes - she is obsolutely thin. Now lets remember folks, Hedi works in a profession that is very critical regarding a woman's shape and weight. So with that said, in the industry she works in - Hedi would need to lose a few pounds (ridiculous as it might sound). But obviously there is a problem with the industry - and people must speak out and let their voices be known that this obsession with weight has gone too far.

Anyone who thinks Heidi needs to lose 20 pounds, probably needs to speak with a shrink; or simply realize you may have deeper issues.

Heidi said that her trainer just moved in with her to get her in shape again. She is taking it very slow with a medicine ball, walks and several things as it is early. She is very sensible. I have never seen Heidi stick thin. What I read on her diet and routine it is very sensible and not one of those fad unhealthy gimmick type diets.

Heidi is absolutely adorable AND gorgeous...but WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS STAND PIGEON-TOED?

Many women posing for pictures move their legs that way or go a bit sideways to appear slimmer I guess.

It's not that difficult to lose the weight and squeeze into a corset-type dress... but her insides are suffering because they aren't healed yet. She also looks exhausted. What price fame?
