I've flown around the world several times, having lived in the Far East and in Europe. NOTHING helps jet lag except staying up if you arrive in the a.m. or taking Melatonin and going to sleep if you arrive in the p.m. I have learned that alcohol is the worst possible thing you can use to sleep but eating a light meal does help. It takes a couple of days, at least, to adjust. Just thing of what happens to most of us here in the US when we "fall back" or "spring forward" every year! Even my dogs got confused!
