I got so tickled at this poster's rant, I just had to post it. It shows how ridiculous most of the MSM are.
As someone on the wrong side of 60, I can see where this might cause a rant LOL
I'm not thankful we have so many soldiers. It's disgraceful -- the decent jobs got exported overseas and there aren't many manufacturing jobs anymore, here in North America. People who aren't intellectual are faced with few life choices: joining the military or becoming a drug dealer. What a lousy choice for a life!
And what, crowing patriots, are our soldiers fighting and dying for? Exactly what? Your SUV or your enormous home fit for an extended family?
What am I thankful for? That Tom Paine is as relevant today as ever.
So few mentioned our soldiers. Kind of surprising as they are news anchors.
I have a feeling Lori's family's Thanksgiving wasn't quite what it should be. How was yours, JoeScar? Oh, I'm sure you'll tell us aaaaall about it in your usual arrogant, condescending [h]ypocritical [b]lowhard voice.

Thank all of you who espoused Thanksgiving wishes among us and for those who might not have. It was all good for most of us I truly hope. My Thanksgiving was marvelous and I so enjoyed being with family and friends that I hadn't seen in years. It's so nice to get together and discuss the world today from people who you love and respect, over a dinner that puts the pounds on more than likely, but who gives a dam?
Of all of them, Arianna's learning to appreciate flats is the best! Yes, all the rest is great, but flat heeled shoes are the truly liberating thing for women! Good for you Arianna! Between you and Michelle Obama, perhaps we could start a revolution right here!

Give it time. THey'll appoint future media members based on race, not qualifications or performance in school. Don't worry. Your eutopia is coming. Obama has to do Oprah interview and a few other things first. Then he'll begin directing media quotas.

If you are a vet thanks for your service. However, please note that I did not ask about qualifications. I only asked HP why they could not find a Hispanic or Asian member of the media who wanted to be thankful. This is not about a "utopian master plan" or aptitute test scores or about Obama, it is about inclusion. It is about feeling that you are part of a nation, that you belong...

All of the people working for Fox included the line about being thankful for the troops overseas except the weather forecaster. Do they have a regimented routine over on that network, or what? I wonder if any of those arm-chair patriots have ever actually served in the military.

When he directs Miranda rights be given to captured terrorists how could you possibly support him? Politicizes the trial of terrorists by selecting a few to be tried in Federal court while the majority are tried in Military tribunals.

And please don't mention Bush. These actions have nothing to do with Bush. These are Obama decisions and directions.

When the president of the U S respects that laws and principles of the U S unlike the previous administration, then I no only support but applaud him. However, if you check with all of the veteran's advocacy groups you will find that they support this president as his track record in supporting vets far exceeds that of Bush, Mccain or any member of the GOP congress.
How is increasing troop strength a disaster for anyone in uniform when the troops on the ground in Afghanistan are begging for troops. You, sir, are a fraud.
Actually, your assertion that vets who support Obama are a minority is untrue. Polls and studies have proven that the ratio of pubs, dems and independents; conservatives and liberals are approximately the same among our troops and veterans as they are in the general population. Last time I checked, President Obama won because a clear and overwhelming MAJORITY of American voters (including vets and active duty) voted for him. Older vets tend to be pubs, but younger vets, especially among the lower ranking non-coms, tend to be dems and independents. I'm not in agreement with all of our Commander in Chief's policies, but I have no doubt that he is doing a much better job than McSame, who NEVER led troops into battle, NEVER took part in executive tactical planning and execution of military maneuvers and was NEVER victorious in the field of battle, would have. Yes, let's not even mention the deserter, his draft dodging VP and pair of serial failures, Bush/Cheney. Signed yet another vet who supports our President. I thought anyone who didn't support the President was un-American? Or does that only count when the President is a rich white guy?

CNN is thankful they don't have Lou Dobbs questioning illegal alien situation show directly before or after their Latino in America VII telecast.
And CNN is thankful for their Michael Jackson 3 month tribute. Not so thankful they missed out on some news stories that were relevant to the American taxpayers.

All the members of CBS, NBC, ABC, and MSNBC are thankful they are not considered journalist. It would be embarrassing for them to have missed the Acorn, Rev Wright, Van Jones, and other relevant stories about this administration.

Having said that, though, I find it amazing that so many are thankful for the troops. I'm sure they think of them all the time. Brian Williams is the only one who can rightly make that comment, because he was just there. Otherwise, come on people, really?
