Dinosaur Skeleton Auction Could Approach $750,000 (VIDEO)

An evolution-themed auction scheduled next month in Paris will present bidders with an opportunity to own a piece of history -- prehistory, to be precise.

The 8-meter-long Spinosaurus skeleton is actually a composite from bones gathered over a wide area of Morocco. The dinosaur is expected to haul in upwards of $750,000. For smaller budgets, a small dragon fly from the Cretaceous period should run bidders just a few hundred dollars.
