The 2009 LA Auto Show is happening at the LA Convention Center, from December 4-13! I will not waste your time nor insult your intelligence by pointing out that LA is a car culture! Suffice to say it is one of the largest shows in the country with 347,000 sq ft of exhibition space. That's a lot of cars!

How can I vote for the VW UP? It was certainly a vehicle in attendance whose production is close at hand and appealing in all aspects.

I'll vote when a car is produced that has the capacity for this voter to wear a top hat, something on he order of a 1936 Packard Automobile...

"it is one of the largest shows in the country with 347,000 sq ft of exhibition space."

Dan Neil of LA Times: Some have taken to calling it the the Los Angeles International Carpet Show because of all the empty floor space this year.

Who in the world chose these photos as the options? The star of the show was the Ford Fiesta. Ford is on a holy terror. This is a mass production car. This was the premiere of the Ford Fiesta and you gave us the 2010 Ford Mustang that has been out for over 8 months? At the very least, give Ford the 2011 Mustang 6 cylinder that gets 302 hp and 30 mpg!

How about the Fiskar electric vehicle, or the numerous hybrids and diesels? The Audi is interesting but come on?
