The 32-13 Alabama victory over Florida in the SEC Championship game was emotional for Gator Nation, but perhaps no one took it harder on the field than Tim Tebow, who was seen crying on the sidelines as the clock ticked down.

Tebow crying demonstrated the emotion he puts into the game, and it generated a variety of responses, both positive and negative. He continued to have tears when interviewed after the game.

Have you seen this yet? How did you feel or how do you feel when watching Tebow in this difficult moment?

Christians can support gay rights, too!

I suppose if Tim Tebow supported gay rights you would all call him a true leader with passion. But since he makes the dreaded mistake of being an open Christian you now deem him as a weak cry baby. Yeah that's pretty much it....and beside none of you would have the guts to call him a cry baby to his face.

I don't think it's a bible verse at all, but rather his prediction of the final score. John is his bookie. And he was darn close too.

Reports now circulating say Tebow chose eye black Bible verse that God found unacceptable and obviously caused Florida's loss. Review of post game film shows no appreciation of God's hand by Tebow who usual blames him for his successes.

This Tim Tebow dissing because he cried his last game of his career is getting ridiculous. He wasn't the only one crying @ the end of that loss. His #1 fan surely shed some tears, too. JOHN 11:35 says Jesus wept. R u gonna make fun of Jesus for crying? Didn't think so. & i'm sure that seeing such a devoted son of God crying & his heart broken, brought tears 2 his Father's eyes I hate the gators, didn't pull 4 them i pulled 4 alabama but Tim Tebow is a good guy & doesn't deserve 2 be trash talked like that. It shows just how much he loves the game of football & the University of Florida. Tim Tebow crying on Saturday after the loss 2 Alabama was just as passionate as the tears on Senior Day. Florida's only loss of the year 2 Alabama on Saturday was not because of a lack of effort by Tebow. I’m sure it was very tough for him knowing the Gators let their fans down. He threw for 247 yrds & completed 20 out of 35 attempts. Everybody that is talking about Tebow is jealous & has never done anything that could even begin 2 compare 2 what he has done. He was confused, let down; grow up. All haters out there oughta lighten up a little. U may have some day when u give it ur all & have deep disappointment & people see u show some emotion. A little

I agree. Those lude and crude and rude comments about a genuine, grown-up REAL man are made out of jealousy and emptiness in their own lives. Grow up....get a Bible. Dare to read it.

The vile animosity, negativity, and ugly criticism of a Tim Tebow's genuine display of emotion is disappointing and frankly, disgusting. Why do humanoids have to be so unforgiving and judgmental of a person who is living his own life with passion and sincerity? Some people appear to have a problem accepting the premise that we live in a free country where each person is entitled to live their life pursuing their own version of happiness.
Perhaps there may never be peace on earth...some countries have centuries of conflict and strife to overcome, and here in the U.S. we have such vicious hatefulness among "sports" fans! Not too sporting. All you haters out there ought to lighten up a little. You may have some day when you give it your all and have deep disappointment and people see you show some emotion. A little compassion may do you good. Both giving and receiving.

For God so loved the Tide, he let Greg McElroy kick Tebow back to Florida.

My son cried when his soccer team lost in the regional championships. I think he was 9 or 10 at the time.

Yo, Tim. It's a GAME! You and the rest of the NCAA Div I-A and Div II-A athletes are pawns of the colleges and universities you play for. You get coolie wages in the form of a scholarship or on teams that are not top tier partial scholarship while your coaches get millions a year in salary, bonuses, produce endorsements, speaking fees, TV appearance fees and sports camps. Your schools rakes in millions more for their endowments but can't seem to muster the energy to get most of your team mates through a useful degree within six years.

Only one out of 1000 of you will ever be able to earn a living as a professional athlete. Your little Bible versus are getting a little old. Why don't you switch out the message to "Leaders are Readers" and maybe you will have a little more actual impact on your young fans.

Your exactly right! These college football athletes rake in millions of dollars for the University through tickets and clothing sales. The scholarship they get in return doesn't even come close in compared to the revenue they are bringing into the university. I suppose instead that the extra money goes to these overpaid professors....and then when the tuition rates go up these professors don't voluntarily take a pay cut. Instead they expect the taxpayers to subsidise the high rate.

Christian always believe people have to follow there moral code to fit there perfect little lives. God loves them. But will turn on you and me like narcissistic psychopath, And if he can’t manipulate your whole existence he will send you to a fiery place and you will suffer for eternity. Tim Tebow is a football player, he plays sports. let him play sports. Why does it mean he has to be virtue?
