I am particularly sickened that the law , in most states, no longer goes after these whores. There used to be Alienation of Affection laws, but most states have abolished them:

What legislators in their right minds would ban such laws, unless they weren't thinking with their minds?

When this story first broke the TW worshipers viciously attacked anyone who made comments that painted TW in a negative light. Now that many sordid details have emerged they have gone silent in their defense of TW.

If the worshipers were wrong about their idol, then it stands to follow that they are wrong about other things in society and life as well. Hero worship is something that must be entered into very carefully and with much introspection. Look what happened with Bush/Cheney and how that all played out.

The only thing I followed Tiger for was his awesome golf game. His private life is none of my business. I still believe this to be a matter between him and his wife, and if society and its media wasn't so blood- thirsty for the next salacious story, it might have remained thus.

Tiger is far from done. He's still an awesome athlete, and whether you like him personally or not, that can't be taken away from him.

I am a firm believer that it takes two to ruin or make a marriage succeed.
In Tiger's case (not condoning his actions)...I think that all through his young life he lived in a disciplined, regemented environment. He didn't want to disappoint "daddy", he did the "right thing" pretending to smile when he just wanted to spit, he basically faked alot of his personality and beliefs to please everyone, including the media, ....then his dad passed on.... there was no one to guide him...which he was so dependant on (didn't know any other way of life). He either said to himself "phew...now I can do what I want to do or he was back to being a child without discipline and went wild.....

I hope this is true, because there is only one reason men, or women, cheat, and that's because they can. If the partner stays, the spouse learns that his or her behavior is OK and will continue to do it.

Don't measure a person's success by how high they climb

but how high they bounce when they hit bottom.

What's your point ?

For you..believe the post was about golf balls not a person...

Human beings are not monogamous creatures, contrary to religious indoctrination/ denial. So people need to stop loosing their s**t over "cheating", which only occurs if you include that bulls**t clause in you nuptials.

People know when they marry horndogs, but they always believe their lying ears and spouses and convince themselves that they are the one who will change him and then act all indignant when the sleep with someone else.

Having said that:
if you like to get on anything that moves- don't settle down,
if you need a hole in every city- admit it, wrap it up and let them know,
and if you are going appear on my TV to sell me stuff, don't ask me to look away when the "schedule programming" comes on.

If life is only all about you monogamy doesn't matter. Enjoy your return to the jungle. If you believe there's value to being committed to others and principles beyond yourself; and are willing to live in mutually beneficially social contracts and live a disciplined life then monogamy makes perfect sense. Monogamy is by far the best way to raise children.

absolutely - many people are inclined to monogamy because they are spiritually and emotionally grounded in the belief of shared intimacy of all kinds, family and community. And are much happier as a result. Lots of unhappy marrieds, lots of unhappy singles - no news here with Woods, just his shadow side out for a stroll

Of course she moved out, she got what she wanted. Let's talk real talk:

She wouldn't have given him the time of day, if he did not have money.

Love had nothing to do with their marriage.

His golf buddies even said that he was a hound.

It would have been virtually impossible for his wife not to know what his golf buddies and everyone on the circuit knew. She knew. He couldn't have been with all of those women in such a short time, and she not know anything.

Tiger needs a manager to manage his life. He doesn't need to get married again. He should stop idolizing certain women. He has an addiction, to say the least. Also, like D.J. said, he needs diversity management and training. lol

To all the courageous people who denounce the inanity of such subjects, godspeed!
Keep braving the ire of sappy site sycophants.

No my husband is not a sex addict anymore. He's dead....he killed himself because of this "behavior" problem. There has actually been some really good clinical reserach on the subject, especially by Patrick Carnes who breaks down the addiction/compulsion model in a very compelling way. Most guys like sex, of course, but not many indulge in it to the point that leads to their ultimate self-destruction. You're right Im not a doctor but i think being to hell and back qualifies me to at least comment on the subject.

Initially, I hope tat Elin will forgive Tiger for her 2 children. However, after knowing abt that Tiger has so many mistresses, I tink it may be better for Elin to leave Tiger. Get a STD screening first though. The nightclubs girls and escorts are not 'clean'. I hope that Elin has a friend at her side now.

Maureen Dowd put it best: Tiger ignored the obvious rule: Never get involved with women who have 8-by-10 glossies.
