Eat a sandwich! She looked TERRIBLE as Lois Lane in the horrible 'Superman Returns' movie. She also wasn't anything close to the spunkiness and independence of Lois. Terrible casting.

I love Kate. She looks just fine. She's an actress who seriously takes into account that the camera adds 10 lbs. of weight on a person, so don't worry honey, you're doin' fine..

My girlfriend Lacie Walton favors her. I worship the ground she walks on.

seriously, I hate that people thinks this is anorexic. I have spent my whole life being thin and having people tell me to eat more when i eat more than most people. she is just a naturally skinny person. for some people gaining weight tougher than putting it on. I remember reading something somewhere where she said she gained muscles for that surfer movie she did but that she is a naturally skinny. why is it so hard to believe that someone is naturally skinny? not every woman is curvy and a size 10, geez, get over it

agreed. she's beautiful. the anti-thin craze is so tired (and unhealthy). sick of hearing how 'real women have curves'...please...And, sick of hearing people complain of the rising cost of health care while they pile on the pounds.

She doesn't look overly skinny to me.

Show me some pictures when she's gained 30 pounds and has a healthy weight. She makes a grasshopper look overweight.

Ok I completely understand how a lot of people here think Kate is too thin. Yes, she is thinner than in the past (ex: Blue Crush) but seriously get over it.

Men: Some like them skinny, and some like them curvier. So what if she's not your cup of tea? It's not like you're going to do her. Obviously she looks great to some men on here.

Women: If you are unhappy with your weight, don't take your frustrations out on celebrities. Focus on your own health instead.

I only say this because I am tired of seeing the hypocrisy in society today. Overweight women (and men sometimes) get criticized over and over in society because of their weight. I understand how hard that can be, but my situation is on the opposite end of the spectrum. I eat and eat and always hover around 100 lbs. I can eat 2000-2500 cals in a day and not see it go anywhere. That's because that's what my body is happy with...those are the genes that I was given.
I'm sick and tired of people telling me to "eat more" when I eat more than them. So if you face criticism for your weight, then don't turn around and do it to people who are on the opposite end of the spectrum. Kate has always been on the slender side. She's beautiful. Leave it at that.

I am a naturally thin man--thin but fit: I work out four to five days a week and don't skip many meals. And yet not a week goes by that someone doesn't make a derogatory comment about my weight, always in the "all in good fun" vein. God, I'm sick of it. I've taken to telling people that unless they want me to comment on the one aspect of their physical appearance about which they're most self-conscious, they will NEVER say a word about my weight again. You should try it!

Haha I would do this but then I'd have a lot of enemies! Well actually I have done this in the past. I've also been poked fun at for being darker than what the Indian community finds to be "beautiful". This pisses me off a lot so I have gone off on people who comment about my skin.

People need to realize that criticizing other people is not going to improve their own self-esteem. It's not going to make you look any different

The Internet is pleased with your offering, Ms. Bosworth. Carry on.

I liked Kate as a Hare Krishna in that Richard Gere movie.

I would have joined her cult in an instant!

Kate is beautiful.

Some of us are born thin and remain thin forever. It is just who we are.

Hate us if you must.

BUT remember, NO ONE gets through life unscathed.

Celebrate beauty - bones and all - while we can!

The thing is: she isn't bony at all. Have we as a society gotten so fat that a person who is hovering near the 18-20 mark on the BMI scale is considered "anorexic"?

unfortunately, yes. and, although I'm thin, I do work at it. I watch what I eat and exercise without fail. i enjoy being 18 BMI. any heavier and I feel like a lazy sloth.
