Tiger Woods' Swedish Home? PHOTOS Of Wife Elin Nordegren's Rumored New House

Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren recently spent more than $2 million on a home in Sweden, according to recent reports. The New York Daily News describes the home's location as "a small, secluded island reachable from Stockholm only by ferryboat." With rumors swirling that the couple might move to Sweden to escape the media spotlight, it's possible that the Woods family could be living in the new residence soon. Tiger going to Sweden?
You can run Tiger, but you can't hide. Some online sports news sites, listed on Dozensports.com, say the world's best golf player could be moving to Sweden to escape the media glare. But if this happens he won't be able to escape the guilt of his actions. Anyway, isn't Sweden a country filed with beautiful blondes? Bad choice for a sex addict.

You could have knocked me down and called me "shorty" at the skit on SNL tonight. That skit was exactly what I was saying in PART III of my comment earlier today. They played on the fact that the MEDIA honed in on Tiger like bees to honey when the MEDIA has barely paid any attention to Sanford, Edwards, and others who have done so much worse than Tiger. I totally flipped and said "dang, did they read my mind or what"?

At least I know that SNL knows also how onesided the MEDIA has been on Tiger. Wake up People and give this man a break. He is respecting his wife right now no matter what he has done in the past. He is protecting her from all the haters, media, and everyone who wants to bring her down also. I give the man kudos for that and much props. You go Tiger and do what you need to do for your family.

I believe that "once burnt", twice learnt. And Tiger has learned no matter what anybody says to the contrary.

I disagree on Edwards, that was a nearly year long media firestorm that I was glad to finally see the end of. Never in my life have I seen so many major news outlets give so much credibility to a tabloid journal that had, until then, never published a true story in the more than 76 years it has existed.

Meanwhile, the media totally ignores the previous months story, about Bush falling off the wagon and spotted drinking in the White House, back to his old alcoholic ways.

You're right about Edwards. I just don't follow crap like that but I do remember his name plastered all over the MEDIA and HP. But have you thought about other athletes doing the same as Tiger, especially since it's so easy to do when women literally throw themselves at you? It's something to think about, that's all.

And Bush, from what I've read, he NEVER stopped drinking. He just figured out how to hide it better :)

I guess I should have pointed it out. If you are Republican like Vitter, Gingrich, Guiliani, Sanford, Craig, and many, many others, you will get minimal press coverage and all is forget within a couple of weeks and is never reported on again.

If you are democrat like Edwards or Clinton, you can rest assured the media will still be talking about it 20,000 years from now as if it happened yesterday. It'll be brought up in every single election.

Not so bleak? You see, unlike in Florida, the seasons actually change in Sweden... AMAZING!

BTW, buying property in the archipelago is primarily expensive because of the location. It is extremely exclusive. Finding property with private access to the water like that is also very rare. Who cares about what the houses look like ATM? That can be changed.

Beautiful home. I love the isolation. Wish I could afford it. I think it would be ideal locale for them to repair their marriage, if at all possible. One or two mistresses may be forgivable. Eleven or twelve--?

Reported on MSNBC on Saturday morning that Mrs. Woods and her sister took action on property in Sweden in June. The purchase was not spur of the moment.
