The Dallas Mavericks had their backs against the wall last night against the Charlotte Bobcats. After outscoring Charlotte by eight points in the fourth quarter to force overtime, Dallas trailed by one point with mere seconds left on the clock. With the game on the line, Dirk Nowitzki confidently drove towards the basket before stopping to attempt the fadeaway jumper. The shot sailed through the hoop with 1.7 seconds remaining, giving Dallas a 98-97 win. Nowitzki finished with 36 points on the night.
