Wachovia Possibilities Rewards Scam? Strange Program Activity Reported

The Wachovia Possibilities Rewards Web site is experiencing slow load time this afternoon.

The reason for the high volume of server requests and increase in Google searches for the Wachovia Possibilities program appears to be related to a scam according to tweets:

SamMoreira: Has anyone registered on the @Wachovia PossibilitiesRewards received an email abt redeemed points without any action taken on yr part?

AliTaylorDesign: @wachovia, I received an email about my Possibilities Rewards order, but I never placed an order...

trackstarz: Wachovia online banking won't even talk to me. My balance just says info not available. Lol.

boybrushednred: argh damn wachovia possibility points!!! i think i just lost 17,000 reward points FML!!

The rewards program allows consumers to earn points whenever they use their Wachovia Check Card or Wachovia Credit Card and turn those points into tangible items.
