David Paterson is a joke of a Governor and Bloomberg lost his mojo with that overturning term limits power grab! congestion pricing will only make doing business in New York that more expensive! It wont cut down traffic in a significant way, people who can't afford to pay will stop driving into the city but will quickly be replaced with people who can! Those who think congestion pricing will stop the MTA from raising bus and subway fares are delusional! Putting up an electronic virtual fence around Manhattan will only make the psychological barrier that exist between Manhattan and the outer boroughs that much more pronounced!

CHARGE! I'm all about it. Manhattan has way too many cars that cause way too much pollution, congestion and death.

These politicians are such liars. Originally, when this idiotic idea was proposed, the politicians, especially Bloomberg, said that the motivation behing congestion pricing, which is a euphimism for "toll", was to get more people to use public transit so that traffic will be diminished and the air will be cleaner. I suggest that if that is their goal, during rush hours reduce the fares to a buck or 50 cents or make it free. People will leave their cars in droves and flock to public transportaion.

But, alas, that is not the case. They're really just interested in the money. They have now shown their true colors.
