Fashion and film continue to churn out creative collaborations this year, with last night's movie premiere for "Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky," opening in France on December 30. The second Chanel biopic this year features actress Anna Mouglalis as the famous designer and charts her love affair with the well-known composer.

"Playing a complex character who is not only the symbol of French elegance but also a bit masculine was jubilant for me....Chanel was a resistante in that she considered that women are never just a sexual object--and I participate in that resistance," Mouglalis said at the premiere.

The other Chanel biopic to hit screens in 2009 was "Coco Before Chanel," which told the story of the designer's early years and love affairs. Chanel was played by actress Audrey Tautou.
