Planned "Wild Hogs 2" Canceled

In what marks the third high-profile film that Disney has halted since Rich Ross took the studio reins, "Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride" has been scrapped.

The Touchstone Pictures sequel to the 2007 hit was revving up to begin production by next summer, with Walt Becker back as director, and John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy reprising their roles as biker pals in mid-life crisis.

Thank some Supreme Being out there somewhere.

That first movie was perhaps the worst 'comedy' I have ever witnessed. Seeing William Macy, usually in great roles and performs them grandly, in that tripe was very painful. The other two stars ... well, they make a lot of these quality flicks in other genres so not a huge suprise. (ex: Battlefiel­d Earth, For Richer or Poorer)) Wild Hogs script was written for a 70 level IQ person with the comedic sensabilit­ies of a brocolli.

Unlike a similar guy film, City Slickers, Wild Hogs has not one memorable nor clever line /set up. Not one laugh. Amazing that it made money ... and that at nearly the same time, Arrested Developmen­t was cancelled.

Life can be very unfair, bizarre and Operation 'Dumb Down' won.
