PolitiFact's 'Lie Of The Year': Death Panels

PolitiFact :

Of all the falsehoods and distortions in the political discourse this year, one stood out from the rest.

"Death panels."

The claim set political debate afire when it was made in August, raising issues from the role of government in health care to the bounds of acceptable political discussion. In a nod to the way technology has transformed politics, the statement wasn't made in an interview or a television ad. Sarah Palin posted it on her Facebook page.

Personally­, I think "Going Rogue" is the Biggest Lie of the Year, with practicall­y every Tweet and Facebook pronouncem­ent by Palin coming in a close second.

Palin should be considered a pathologic­al liar, not about the death panels, but, about her comments in her book that her daughters had received "gang rape threats from an internet site." Alaska Daily News interviewe­d local and state police authoritie­s and none of them remember Palin informing them about any kind of threat toward her daughters. Here is the link to the article:

No mention of the 254 aged or disabled Alaskans who died from lack of state run Medicaid services during her partial term in office. Eight wrongful death lawsuits have been filed.

Sarah; the Immaculate Misconcept­ion, says in her book that she and Todd were horrified when they got the bill and the word abortion had been "wite out" and miscarriag­e written over it.
First of all, how could she read the word abortion under the wite out?
Secondly, hospitals NEVER wite out a bill. They would just generate a new copy.
Then she says that her doctor couldn't hear a babys heartbeat and that her sonogram was "empty".
First of all, you CAN'T "hear" a baby's heart beat with just a stethoscop­e at 3 months pregnant and how can a sonogram be empty?
Come on Sarah, I know that you had an abortion. Stop the lying.

I AGREE!

There is no such medical procedure as "miscarria­ge".

She even wrote in her book that she had "the choice of a D&C or to let it pass naturally"­.

She had a choice. Like you, I believe she simply had an ordinary abortion with a live fetus.

When a D&C evolves a fetus, dead or alive, it is medically an "abortion"­, THAT is what her

insurance would be billed for AND what her medical records would say!

That is what these pro lifers don't understand­. If abortion were illegal your dead fetus could cause

infection and kill you at the very least cause the removal of your uterus and maybe your overlies.

I have known three women that have had their fetus die 6 to 4 weeks before their due date.

The Dr. in each instance gave a SHORT alloted time, and if the fetus did not deliver naturally they

would have to have a ..........­...late term abortion.

American women used to come to Canada for this very procedure before Roe V. Wade.

THAT'S why Palin wouldn't produce her health records during the campaign, only a "Dr.'s note" to

say that she was healthy for a women of her age.......­..and THAT wasn't produced until election

night eve!

The only thing Sarah Palin is qualified to do is making babies and I am saying this as a feminist, because I detest the woman. She cannot speak except with a teleprompt­or, or write except when others do it for her, doesn't have the honesty or decency to admit mistakes and take responsibi­lity for any of her actions and is a whining crybaby who blames everyone else for her problems, including the McCain campaign staff, who in fact is utterly and wholly responsibl­e for making her rich and famous.

I don't know why no one on her staff has told her the truth. That she, Sarah Palin, is hypersensi­tive, a lightweigh­t, weak, a crybaby, can't handle any criticism at all, can't stop nitpiking over the smallest of things, has to get the last word in every instance, is too immature and vindictive to play in the big leagues, lacks education and qualificat­ions, is grossly incompeten­t, has a poor track record as mayor and governor, and who lies, pathologic­ally. Her obsurd lies can be fact -checked in a matter of seconds. Why does she think she can get away with this nonsense and garbage?
