Jackie O., Tulle And 'Snowflakes' Big For 2010 Brides

The 2010 wedding season promises to be elegant, involving lots of tulle, diamonds and crystals and invoking the style of Jackie O., the Independent UK reports.

"Snowflakes" made from diamonds and crystals adorned many of the dresses at New York's Bridal Fashion Week last October, including gown from Reem Acra and Monique Lhullier's collections. There was also an abundance of tulle, draping and ruffles, and some asymmetric cuts and transparent layering. And it appears that ivory is the color of the season.

Designers also seem to be drawing inspiration from Jackie O. especially with accessories like pillbox hats, fascinators and short gloves.
