I recently heard of Harold Camping and his prediction. I am a Christian & I believe the Bible is the Word of God, but I'm always disappointed when Christians try to predict when Christ will return. "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father" (Matthew 24:36). I'd like to know what he says about those words of Jesus. It is foolishness like this that gives Christianity a bad name and, as is evidenced by the comments on this page, causes people to laugh off the seriousness of something as pertinent as faith in God.

Will Harold Camping be taking calls at Family Radio on 22 May 2011, the day after, so we can tell him: "nanny, nanny, boo, boo.?"

All Huffins will join each other in Hell on 22 May 2011 (the day after), and Harold will be greeting them there.
yikes, it will not only be warm, but crowded.

15 more months until judgment day. On May 21, 2011 the unsaved will be tormented for 5 months and after wards they will be destroyed. So, if you're not saved, now is the time to cry out to God for mercy. If you have questions please visit the latter rain group at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Latter_Rain/

If a person, say's that God told me something, and it doesnt happen, then that man is a false prophet, and not of God, I personally dont believe in the rapture theory. Im not implying that I know everything about the bible , but I do know what God say's about false prophets. mathew 7.23

So what happened on September 6, 1994? Was it a miscalculation or did Jesus forget his happy face neck tie?

The only good news in the rapture happening in 2011 is that Sarah will miss a run in 2012. I know she believes in the rapture, which makes me wonder why she's building a big, new house that she'll need for only another year-and-a-half.

Where does he get the date, April 1, 33 A.D? If Christ were died on that date then what does AD stand for? I always thought it meant after death.

I heard a religious man on TV one day talking about the bible and he said something like, in the 5000 years since the bible was first written........ I can't quote him because I don't remember the exact words anymore than I am sure who said it. My point is, there is scientific PROOF that the earth is much older than a mere 5000 years so if one believes the bible, how do they explain that? How does a believer explain dinasaurs? Or fossils of humans older than 5000 years?

Sorry, I believe in science over superstition.

Anno Domini, the Year of Our Lord. Begins at either conception or birth or Christ, depending on your outlook.

This yutz's math is wrong, too. April 01, 0033 was a Wednesday, with the Full Moon occurring on Friday, April 03, 0033, which would either have the Resurrection happening on Friday, or on Easter, April 12, 0033.

As for the "fossils" and "science", these people believe that the "evidence" was put on Earth by the Devil to lead us astray.

He will be wrong like all those before him including Je sus who said that it would happen while his own audience, then and there, were still alive

True Story...

About 20 years ago a Jehova's Witness came to my door.
He asked if I was ready for the "end of the world".
I, shocked to hear this news, asked how long I had to live.
He told me I had less than 2 months to prepare my soul, accept Jesus and receive eternal life.
I then asked him just what I needed to do to get ready for this impending event.
He told me I could start by buying a 1-year subscription to Watchtower.
I told him OK, but I really only needed 2 months worth.
I slammed the door closed.
He sat on my front porch for several minutes - presumably trying to figure out why his sales pitch just wasn't working.

Thank You Thank You Thank You..All of these people that believe this crap. How can he calculate anything from the bible, when the book itself is made up of a group of chosen texts. Some left in, and some left out. How do you reconcile that? Scholars...blah

This insane person must have skipped over the scripture that claims "no man shall know his return." Always great when people pull what they want for their gain.
