Twenty years ago, Washington state elementary school teacher Richard Lewis asked his third graders to make a pledge to reunite with each him on January 1, 2010.
For two decades, without the help of Facebook or the Internet, the students remembered their promise and returned to their school Friday to honor the teacher who had made such an impression on them.
