Katy Perry & Russell Brand ENGAGED

LONDON — No more kissing girls for Katy Perry.

Emmet Mannion, a representative for Russell Brand, says the 34-year-old British actor-comedian has proposed to Perry. No wedding date was announced in the statement, issued Wednesday, and no other details were available.

Brand met Perry, 25, when he hosted last year's MTV Video Music Awards and she performed.

Perry's hits include "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot N Cold."

Good for both of them. I think Russell Brand is hilarious, and I remember how great it was when he bashed Bush at the MTV Awards. It was fantastic. Congrats Russel and Katy!

I saw the movie 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall" last night (starring Russell Brand) and while his character was funny and charming in that movie, he is extremely unattractive and has major issues in real life.

I sorta like Katie Perry and hope that she doesn't get sucked into his lifestyle and that he gets cleaned up before any marriage takes place

Oh if his interview on Fresh Air with Terry Gross is any indication,then yes,sadly he is.
All his issues with sex and drug addiction,don' t bode well.
Katy has sort of a thing for the deeply flawed bad-boy types but eventually she gets fed up and moves on,
So yeah I'm going to hold off on their tenth anniversary presents until 9 years and 11 months into it.
