How can you have a list like this in which you leave out some of the most historic misses of all-time??

Roberto Baggio, a player whom I adored, playing in the finals taking his Italian superstars against the mighty lads of Brasil. THE final, THE match, goes to penalty kicks, first time ever. Baggio, the scoring superstar has a chance to keep the Italians going just by making what should have been a gift shot. Instead...

That was probably more heartbreaking that my Team USA losing 1-0 to the same Brasil team that was the dirtiest playing team of the entire World Cup '94.

That second video is the most famous miss of all-time. Geoff Hurst clearly missed, and per the FIFA rules "the whole of the ball has to cross the whole of the line" stipulation, it was clearly a miss. But for some reason, it was awarded a goal and England wins the World Cup '66 on what was arguably the most famous missed goal of all-time. Way more famous than that "Hand of God" goal that was scored by Diego Maradona, or even the "Hand of Henry" goal scored against Ireland by Thierry Henry that was an obvious miss, but redirected into the goal by Henry's hand just like Maradona had done.
