I have a website, http://www.groceryalerts.ca shows printable coupons organized by categories (Baby, Beauty, Health, Grocery) so they are easy to find. The entire website is free and has only Canadian information on the website.

I just set a new coupons website. http://www.couponshouse.com
I'm collecting coupons all over the web and I will be grateful to everybody for any suggestion and coupon code update.
About the interview! She made big money thanks to the online media coverage. Her website got a boost! She doesn’t need anymore to save money at the grocery store!

My parents grow their own food and raise their own meat. They don't eat any processed foods and spends no money at the grocery store. How's that for saving!

ALL PROCESSED FOOD!

ugh....
03:54 PM on 01/06/2010
Even the Muir Glen organic tomato paste she bought?
03:23 PM on 01/06/2010
No thanks, Coupon Lady. My health and well-being are well worth over 25 cents.
03:29 PM on 01/06/2010
There are coupons for produce. There are coupons for organic food. Organic Valley puts out coupons every month on their website. They are all for $1 off organic eggs, milk, soy milk, etc.

These are my most prized coupons. I found one this past week in the paper.
03:21 PM on 01/06/2010
A bunch of BS. Not many stores will except double or triple coupons on an item. And she bought a bunch of stuff based solely on the coupons that she had...so she bought a lot of stuff she didn't need and probably didn't want. Plus she would save-up a month's worth of coupons to get that big of a benefit.
03:33 PM on 01/06/2010
How do you know she bought things she didn't need?

Coupon Mom also donates a lot of food to those in need.
03:51 PM on 01/06/2010
That's horrible! Passing on high sodium processed foods to the needy.

I played a solo gig at an organic farm and came home with almost a week's worth of really great produce and a dozen duck eggs. Not bad for a hour's work.

Buy American made, no excuses.

my kids hate me, i know, but i mostly shop at our local trader joe's - dairy products are cheaper there, soymilk, tofu, pasta, canned beans, fruits, veggies and other staples as well... and don't get me started on the two buck chuck.
i sell my wares at the local farmer's market, and therefore get discounts on nearly all the produce. this summer we are growing a victory garden. there are so many things i'd rather be doing than clipping coupons and scouring the shelves of overprocessed, overpackaged junk food. i get to support local farmers or companies that take care of their loyal employees...

I am planning a road trip to a trader joes in north jersey to stock up on two buck chuck :)
03:15 PM on 01/06/2010
I had that in DC this past Xmas and it was good, especially after I made GluhWeiin with it and my family was inebriated and warm.
04:27 PM on 01/06/2010
It's 3 buck chuck now
03:10 PM on 01/06/2010
amazing comment! i feel exactly the same way. TJoes and the little produce store down the street. (no garden poo)

I agree with everyone here. Everything she bought will just put me on the path to liver cancer or any other number of diseases. I never shop at the major chains that carry all the industrialized food.

To all the naysayers:

I am not big on processed food. And I avoid products with artificial ingredients. (I make a lot of things from scratch) And I ALWAYS use coupons. The majority of coupons are for crap but if you pay attention you can get some good ones. I only buy staples and I use coupons while combining sales and I save money. The change is significant. There IS a system folks. You can really save if you push beyond the surface. The goal for the manufacturers is for you to overspend on new trendy products that you don't normally buy.
Your goal is to ignore all of that and just purchase what you normally buy but do it with coupons instead.

I do the same thing, only buy on sale and use coupons. I go to Target for soy milk and half and half because it is a dollar cheaper. I save about fifty dollars every week. I get all of my pet supplies at Trader Joes.

I really wish I had a Trader's Joes near me. I always hear good things about them! I do Costco's for soymilk. I find that their Kirkland's brand in this area is cheaper. Do you know any stores that double or triple coupons. THAT I need to work on!
01:42 PM on 01/06/2010
I mostly use coupons on dental and other hygiene projects.

That being said, how does the cost of all these newspapers fit into this madness.

It is well worth it my friend.
02:07 PM on 01/06/2010
Sorry, OfCourse. I used to be a 'coupon shopper' and I think I averaged about $3.00/month in savings. That did not include the newspapers, gas getting to the store with the 'sale' and my time cutting and organizing all those coupons. I still use one every now and then and like I said, it's great for hygenine products, but food? Nah.

Most people who work wouldn't save money like this, given the amount of time she spends on this she could have worked those hours and made a lot more money.
01:42 PM on 01/06/2010
She'll make more money writing a book about it.
04:13 PM on 01/06/2010
She did write a book, it's in the middle of the video.

All you have to do is buy your coupons from eBay or from a coupon dealer like Rebecca Addington. Even people who work go to the grocery store.
