In what could be perceived as a sign the local job market is improving, or perhaps simply a sign of mankind's impending demise, local online rental listing service Westside Rentals has put out an open call to replace their rather spirited mascot. The pay? $100,000 and all expenses covered. While other so called "best jobs in the world" are fraught with hidden occupational hazards, the real deal might be right here in our backyard.

The Craigslist entry reads:

Westside Rentals, the Largest Home Finding Service in Southern California is looking for a new mascot to promote the company by dancing in front of our offices, attending sporting events and concerts. All expenses paid including airfare and per diem to the Super Bowl, Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers, Angels, Kings, Ducks, UCLA and USC. We're including a link below of our current mascot so you can see what we're looking for, please come dressed to impress and bring the energy...

Think you've got what it takes? The position entails far more than standing on a street corner and spinning a sign in the air. Check out this video of their previous mascot. Good luck!

Some of us have too much dignity for such shenanigans. $100,000? Well that's different!
