We need a clean-sweep in Albany...throw the bums out and start with a fresh crop. It probably won't change the criminal culture of our state politicians, but it'll give us fresh faces to rail against....

The man has guts.

The man's popularity numbers are below low.

He figures that he's probably going to lose the election anyway so why not tell the truth. A very unique campaign strategy.

The tricky part will be figuring out how to fix things should he get to retain his present employment.

There is no one talked about as a candidate that I like more than Patterson.

There was never really a first time.

This character wasn't voted into office.

He was picked as deputy governor because it was thought the chance of him ever becoming governor was so remote his lack of qualifications were not important.

The only possible chance he stood was had he appointed Carolyn Kennedy senator. But for some reason still unknown to everyone he did not do this.
