Schwarzenegger, despite other criticisms, has been a consistent advocate on responding to climate change and making California a leader in green technologies and jobs. He would put a very good face on the administration's efforts to make an impact on warming. Then, Schwarzenegger would have a way out of all the budgetary woes plaguing California.

Geezem Crow I forgotten just how stupid some of these comment's...anyway I think it's a pretty good fit actually. He's a leader. I believe I could see him working with business free market as well a nudging through government regulation getting people off their brain dead butts to go green and start some real action and actually LEAD with America first - yes this makes sense- but we are WAY TO STUPID TO KNOW BETTER - so not likely.

I like Arnold too. However, his administration's views on Global Warming are simply embarrassing. In his Climate Adaptation Report, his experts' climate models predicted sharp sea level rises,starting in 2000, and running through 2100. However, all the tide stations along the California coast have shown declines since 1998, the exact opposite of what the climate models predicted.

Now that the Climategate Scandal has revealed how climate scientists have fudged their computer codes to reach predetermined conclusions, rather than practicing normal science, the public can only look at the conclusions of the Climate Adaptation Report and laugh.

Most likely mother nature will hand California the opposite of what the Climate Adaptation Report forecasts: Lower sea levels, lower temperatures, and heavier rainfall and resultant floods.

Arnold has done good things for California, but his Global Warming fear mongering has not been one of them.
