George Clooney Steps Out With Elisabetta Canalis (PHOTOS)

George Clooney and girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis hit the New York Film Critics Circle Awards Monday night in NYC.

Clooney picked up the Best Actor award for his role in 'Up in the Air.'

Elisabetta met Clooney's mom and appeared in a thong in German FHM last month.

George Clooney is what's wrong with American film.

The guy is such an empty suit; Warren Beatty has deeper thoughts than he does.

Edward G. Robinson made a comment about Bogart that can be used for Clooney. Robinson said he begin feeling sorry for Bogart when Bogart began believing his own press releases.

Having his contract “girlfriend” accompany him everywhere, have his people whitewash her into a model, although she’s done soft porn in the past and has been fired from MTV Italy for lack of talent? She's so classy that she used to have a tattoo that read Eminem that she later had covered up with roses or whatever.

Nanea, you're so right. It does look like he's campaigning again. Hopefully he wins the Oscar so that he can stop this photoshopping whitewashing deal he has with this hard not soft p.... (Check the web...it's out there). It looks so much like the same deal and arrangement he had with the previous girlfriend when he was up for an Oscar.

My only problem with George Clooney.

Up until Nov/08 George was a champion at wanting something done about Darfur. A day didn't go by without him criticizing the govt. that we need to do something about Darfur.

After the Nov/08 election George has never mentioned Darfur. Instead he's partied all over Italy, dated a lot of pretty girls (which is ok), even had a 13 year old run around with very little clothes on in his Italian Villa, but quit worrying about Darfur.

In the meantime, the people at Darfur still suffer. And maybe even moreso.

BTW, I belong to Christian Solidarity International (and since 1998) and we've been talking about Darfur, Southern Sudan, and the "Chattel Slavery of Black Africans" by their Arab muslim masters before it was fashionable. And while the Clinton Administration, Congressional Black Caucas, and every other perfect-people stayed quiet. And have pooled our resources and have to last count, freed approximately 50,000 so far. Also given to Joe Madison (DC talkshow host) who has also freed many former slaves.

Doncha love how george tends to acquire a "girlfriend" within a few months prior to the oscar pr blitz, and "breaks up" with said GF within a couple/few months after the awards? this is a reply of the vegas cocktail waitress who materialized during the lead-up to oscars for "michael clayton" and disappeared a couple months after the whole shebang was finished....

He is one of those men that age has improved his looks. One only needs to look back at Roseanne to see he was average looking at best during those years. It is funny to think that he was a small character with minimal acting skills at that time working with some seasoned actors that got their share of jobs after that series ended. Still, Clooney far surpassed them.

As far as his many girlfriends, they always look the same to me. I wonder if their personalities are the same as well. Is he really looking for the "right" gal or just content to have another clone of the last one on his arm? Who knows.
