Secretary Of Shades: Hillary Clinton's Sunglasses Collection (PHOTOS, POLL)

First Posted: 03/18/10 06:12 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 04:10 PM ET

When Hillary Clinton stepped outside Andrews Air Force base Monday morning, we immediately noticed the Secretary of State's newest set of sunglasses: taupe-colored with rectangular lenses. Over the years she's worn Ray-Bans, reflectors and cat eyes, and paired them with hats, scarves and suits. Which of Hillary's frames are fab? And which are drab?

I like the ones at the graduation best. She looks good with the big round ones as well, like the pic with McAulife

What a huge mistake she's not president right now. Hillary was our only true savior from disaster and be blew it.

We are very, very lucky that this woman ran her presidential race into the ground.

I am a firm believer in shades. Great inventions.

Hillary Clinton is a fashion disaster, dermabrasion or no dermabrasion.

Yet still 100x better than M!chelle and her silver belts up to the b00bs and her tacky slippers.

Get over yourself hater. The two women are 20 years apart in age. They dress equally fine for their ages.

Have to agree with you about Michelle Obama's belts; however, she often looks fabulous. I don't remember ever seeing Hillary Clinton looking fabulous. A few of her pant suits with shorter jackets pass but are oh so granny dated.

Hillary may not be Jackie O but she uses fashions which flatter her.

Hillary looks fabulous with just about ANY kind of shades. What I find attractive about her is that she doesn't really care to put on a "fashion show". She does 'minimal fashion' and she manages to look crisp, cool and in a weird way compassionate at the oddest of times! You never know when she'll take off the shades and make a joke about herself. I read the Jonanthan van Meter's December Vogue article "Her Brilliant Career" and I was surprised...she does her own makeup and puts on no airs. Breaking her right elbow, though, must have been very painful in the summer. She's truly an amazing woman who is doing so much for the girls and women of Africa and Asia. I wish she'd be given the Nobel Prize for her phenomenal work in this area. The Congo hospitals she visited left an impression on her and these gang war victims at least look forward to having some much-needed resources from State Dept.....We need more women like Hillary! With or without fancy shades!

A very well written comment, memi. I feel the same way about our Madame Secretary.
