Peter Orszag's Hair: Toupee Or Not Toupee? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Lately, all eyes have been on OMB Director Peter Orszag with his engagement to ABC News financial reporter Bianna Golodryga, his love child with Claire Milonas, and his dating-past with Washington Post publisher Katharine Weymouth.

But we'd like to take a look at DC's darling from a style slant: what is up with his hair? Has Orszag invested in a man rug, or has he been the victim of a series of haphazard haircuts in which only the follicles surrounding his ears and the nape of his neck have been shaved? Toupee or not toupee: that is the question. Take a close look and vote.

Back in the day Peter's father, Steven Orszag, was a math professor at MIT. The resemblance round the hairline is uncanny. So everything that's been said in this blog was hashed out twenty years ago by hundreds of MIT students who watched Steven in front of a blackboard for several hours each week. No firm conclusion was ever reached. With this new data there are two possibilities:

(1) a genetic condition;

(2) the toupee is a family hand-down.

Is it terrible that this worries me because I think that wearing a rug is a horrible decision, there's really no good excuse for it, and this guy is making HUGE and extremely important decisions? Doesn't it show he's not as mentally stable as someone in his position should be?

Best license plate ever: MOP2PAY. On the car of a guy here in town that owns a jaitorial business. Mop to pay, get it? It gets better. He wears a terrible wig. Mop Toupee. Just great.

wow that is a bad toupee, he needs to invest in hairplugs, they are doing amazing work these days. My cousin got some when they first came out and they werent the best, but he just went back for new ones and they are amazingly good, and the look natural.

I think the lack of any sort of jagged hairline proves his hair is fake. Plus the color is off from the top and the sides. The top is darker than the sides...nobody has a hairline in which you cant see where the hair comes from out of the head.
