James Franco On "30 Rock": Japanese Sex Pillows & Celeb Romances (VIDEO)

James Franco guest-starred on "30 Rock" this week, playing a slightly more perverted less charming version of himself. It was the funniest we've seen him and the show in months.

Franco entered into a deal with fame-hungry Jenna to date her publicly in order to dispel rumors that he has a Japanese sex pillow fetish. Unfortunately, Jenna ended up falling for him despite James saying such lovely things as "try to look like you just got drilled, you know the deal," when the paparazzi were around.

After Jenna dumped him to look for a man who actually loves her, James ran into Liz Lemon (aka Tina Fey) in a club, post-makeover. The two connected (well, the three really if you count James's pillow) and spent the night together. (Cat sound.)

James Franco is a great actor. he has some funny stuff on funnyordie.com.
But he was brilliant in Pineapple Express. "I thought hurricane season was over!"
Love him
Also, he was good in Milk.

I understand Japanese Moe and find it amusing. But this show--as a comedy show--I'll never understand.

this was a 30 rock instant classic like the N word episode. or the one that ended with the "to catch a predator" spoof. that might have been the same episode. either way. this one was just as great.

josef..it WAS funny...over the top fun to watch...great writing...and Franco...I'd call it almost a brave performance... 30 Rock..is now..the ONLY funny 30 min show on TV (please note..I said 30 min.)..

(lead in..Parks and Recreation...also...very pleasantly funny...like The Office... what was the pillow's name..Tamiko San? ...yup..a threesome...too good!

Let me clarify... even if it only happened in the very last episode ever, it would still be a letdown. What they have is a great buddy comedy thing going on. One of the few male/female buddy comedies. To put them together would destroy the essence of the show... even if it were the very last episode.

Tina Fey dancing at the end of the show had me convulsing with laughter. I love that woman. The rest of the show was great too. Jenna on Gossip Girl: "I'm 41- time to die!" Loved it.
