Agree with all those trends and would add pale skin tone in too.

As for holding their own umbrella, goes to show that they're people and don't others to hold their umbrella. Good for them.

So tired of Ms. Roberts making everything about her. When you open an env to announce the winner, everyone is waiting to hear the first sound out of your mouth to hear if it's their name. She did it at the Oscars when Denzel won; she opened the env & instead of saying, "The Oscar goes to...", she said, "I love my life". Then last night she opened the env & said, "Hazel & Finn, go to bed."

I am so over her & her big teeth. Sorry. Just had to vent.

They would have looked a lot better with stockings on those bare legs. But who really cares -we are lucky they wore dresses.

Do indeed realize IS the "trend" to go stockingless, even applaud such in say, "summertime"/etc...but frankly --the ladies legs look far better when "dressed" with hosiery and for verification, just do DO a comparison !! As for the 3 first posted, Those particular short dresses seemed quite DULL for the glitzy affair...The first might do for dinner perhaps, Julia looked frumpy (and what WAS with the dull hair as well...) and the gal pal of Paul looked liked she was wearing pillow upolstery materia--btw , WHAT were those weird buttons on Paul...left over campaign buttons ? Another btw, love Bullock but her hair looked slop-chopped--another trend that needs to be put to rest !!!

Disagree. You don't wear hose with gowns like that. Hose are passe for the most part. I agree tho that the short dresses were odd & Ms Roberts looked a mess.

Ms Loren & Halle were stunners.

Hose may be passe for now, white, pasty legs and spider veins being all the rage. Nothing beats a NYC winter for making hose acceptable again.
