O'Reilly Is Sad We Can't Make Fun Of Arabs Anymore: 'What Has Changed In America?' (VIDEO)

Think Progress catches Bill O'Reilly praising a very questionable music video, "Ahab the Arab," by the country music artist Ray Stevens. Stevens has made a new music video opposing the health care reform bill, but later in the interview O'Reilly told Stevens that has been a fan of his work since he was young, and showed one of his "parody" videos, "Ahab the Arab."

The video, made in 1962, stars Stevens and is about a "sheik who rides the burning sands." Stevens claims he's trying to parody "Arabian Nights," but it's easy to see that some people could be offended by it.

O'Reilly himself admitted that you couldn't get away with something like this now. He lamented, "What has changed in America?"

As Think Progress points out, Ahab has become a racial slur due to Stevens' song.
