Elin Nordegren Moving To SWEDEN? Wife To Leave Tiger, Take Kids: Report

UPDATE: RadarOnline.com reports that the marriage is "definitely not over." Woods entered rehab to preserve the marriage, according to the article.

Elin Nordegren plans to leave Tiger Woods and move to Sweden with their children, according to In Touch. A source tells the magazine that Nordegren won't return Woods' calls and is "reminded daily of the havoc he's wreaked on her and her kids' lives, which is why she's planning on staying in Sweden full-time. She wants to be near her family."

In 2009 Nordegren bought a $2-million home on a private island near Stockholm. Shortly thereafter rumors surfaced that Woods and his family would move to Sweden together to escape the media spotlight.

But in mid-December Nordegren was photographed without her wedding ring and multiple reports soon emerged claiming that she was preparing to divorce the superstar golfer. One source said that a "divorce is 100 percent on."

Hi, I'm new to Huffpost. I'm grateful that I can state what is on my mind right now about Tiger Woods'
wife, Elin Nordegren. Tiger Woods is in a sex-addiction rehab clinic? What is his motivation if he
supposedly texted Rachel U. stating "You are the only one I have ever really loved." It doesn't sound like Tiger need sex-addiction rehab, he should be getting rehab as to why he married a beautiful woman just for the "image" of it. Since Tiger never loved her, it's no wonder he had no conscience when he cheated on her with all those other women. I think Elin will always be suspicious of Tiger if she takes him back, and that is not a good thing. I think Elin is a first class lady who deserves better than the guy she married. She should adhere to their prenup agreement for herself. She should negotiate a monetary reserve for their children because I think any woman or women that Tiger will be with in the future will take him and his money to the cleaners. Elin needs to protect her children's financial future. She also needs to look after her health and well being and eventually find a guy who
will care deeply for her, as she will for him. Good luck Elin and good riddance Tiger.

Sweden has a great school system, and a great liberal society. I think the children would benefit being raised in that environment, especially if the paparazzi will ever leave them alone.
My hat off to Mrs. Woods for stoically staying the course of being classy and discreet.

Like all the other stories, no way to know if this is true. However, given the children's young ages (2 and 11 months), they belong with their mother at this time. As long as they're here in the US she and they, certainly won't get any privacy from the American media--which she and they deserve. Look how the media and paparazzi are still stalking them. In addition, all of her family, life long friends, and support system is there, as well as the privacy. I would think that Tiger would know that they deserve at least that, since it's a result of his own actions which has brought this absurd media intrusion to pass. Why force her to live here if she doesn't want to? Who would that benefit? Also, having private jets at his disposal make visitation fairly easy. He can fly from Florida to Sweden, before I can drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

When they get older, and his job requires less globe trotting, then joint custody will probably be more feasible. He's got a lifetime to build a relationship with his kids. I know plenty of divorced people without his resources, who have done a good job at that, and are loved madly by their kids. It all depends on the interaction he and his kids will have when together.

Elin has experienced something very traumatic in her marriage. She needs time to think and be away from the MSM and the wealthy lifestyle. However, if this story is true, I totallly disagree with her moving those kids to Sweden. The marriage was between her and Tiger, not the kids. Those kids need to be able to see their father.

Excuse me, but you can't just abandon your spouse and then run to a different country without legal repercussions. A sane husband would have taken legal action to stop her if he didnt allow it. Its a form of abduction.

Tiger seems to have collapsed because no reasonable man just lets his tiny kids be taken away overseas unless he's sick.

Without knowing the legal ins and outs of this, I can't really see how he can stop her. She is a Swedish citizen, they are her children and I suspect he doesn't see that much of them anyway. Even if they have an army of nannies, she is primarily responsible for the children's wellbeing. Besides, it's called the PGA Tour, not the PGA Stay At Home. Courts rarely side with the father in these circumstances, although the fact that they were born here might help him. I have a friend whose ex-wife met a New Zealander, and she went to live there with their children. My pal sees them about once every 18 months. Nothing he could do about it, and he was a partner in a law firm. I also know an American girl who married an Aussie. Child was born in Australia, husband turned out to be a pshycopath so she left him and came back here. She has just lost a case here, in this country, brought by him that forces her to move back to Australia with the child. These things are never easy, but I would be surprised if Tiger could prevent it.
