Review Obama's Job Performance

Review Obama's Job Performance

Exactly one year ago, Obama took the oath of office and ushered in a new era in American history.

At least, that's what everyone thought.

One year later, the nation is still grappling with the impact of the largest economic crisis since the Great Depression. On average, one in ten Americans are jobless and the housing crisis continues to drag down the economy. Skepticism is mounting over the bailout of the banks. Comprehensive health care reform is teetering, some say due to a lack of leadership from Obama. The war in Afghanistan is escalating... Unfortunately, the list goes on.

In one of the most-quoted lines from his inauguration speech, the Nobel laureate spoke of greatness:

In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned.

So how is Obama doing? Is he on the path to becoming one of our greatest presidents? What do you think he has earned?

On the anniversary of his inauguration, and in the days leading up to his State of the Union speech, HuffPost is asking readers to weigh in on the debate. Simply click PARTICIPATE below and submit your job review of our most visible and powerful public employee.
