Australia's Next Top Model Judge Charlotte Dawson Slams Plus-Size Models, Says They'll Only Do Target Catalogues

Posted: Updated:

Australia's Next Top Model judge Charlotte Dawson said there's no market for plus-size models in her country, Ninemsn reports.

"I would like someone to name a plus-size model in Australia because I can't," she remarked. "We could have a plus-size model win the competition and she would end up doing catalogues for Target."

Director of plus-size modeling agency BGM Models Darrianne Donnelly called Dawson's bluff:

"For Charlotte Dawson to say there is no plus-size modelling industry in Australia is untrue....I have models out there proving it every day."

Apparently Dawson hasn't seen the recent Size issue of V Magazine. Check out Crystal Renn's spread and its editorial "Curves Ahead."
