Pee-Wee Herman Vs. David Arquette (PHOTOS)

David Arquette came out dressed as his friend Paul Reubens Wednesday in Los Angeles for Reubens' show opening.

He's back as Pee-wee Herman in the live stage show 'The Pee-wee Herman Show' at Club Nokia.

Below are full-sized photos of both Arquette and Reubens dressed in a Pee-wee suit. Both photos were taken Wednesday night.

It's hard to believe that Reubens is now 57 years old.

Yeah me too! I miss all the highly creative zany fun of Pee-Wee's Playhouse.
That was one of those shows that seemed made for kids, but the rest of us loved it too.
Is there any plan for "The Pee-Wee Herman Show"?

Yea....for Pee Wee...He got a bum rap before....

One of my favorite movies...Pee Wee's great adventure....
Funny and no filthy words or nudity to try to be funny.

I'm glad he is back....used to have a really cute show for the little kids
until one "mean, jealous" person made a lot of trouble for him because of a picture that shouldn't have been taken in the first place.

Phil Hartman helped Paul develop the character and the original live show, back in the early early 80s. He was even part of the live show. Not a lot of people know that.

years ago when the show came on in late 80's, I made an effort to get Cowboy Curtis made a Marshal for the Reno Rodeo . . . couldn't get the Board to consider it . . . but what a wonderful idea it would have been . . . sure that they wouldn't turn down Lawrence Fishburne now . . .

I believe Phil Hartman was a sea captain in the live show. Cowboy Curtis was Laurence Fishburn on the teevee program.
