Jeff & Erin's EPIC Wedding Trailer: Couple Goes All Out To Make You Save The Date (VIDEO)

What's Your Reaction?

Jeff and Erin Wong were not screwing around when it came to their save the date. They wanted to make damn sure everyone knew what was up, so they skipped the dainty cards most couples use and made a video. But not just any video, an awesome epic ridiculous one that takes you through as many movie genres as you can imagine with the couple starring in each. It's so well done that you can't help but love this pair and wish them a lifetime of happiness. Here's to them and to hoping when they have their first baby they do something equally as nuts.

Great work.

Here's an even better save the date! (better production quality, excellent story line)

Cheers to Dan and Jen's Save the Date

Different, not better...esp production value, and best of luck to all of them.

This is definitely the most creative, adventuring, romantic, save the date I have ever seen. Get to know Jesus and base your marriage on God(the rock) and he shall do the rest.

God Bless You both on your journey to a joining together of man and woman(God's creation) It shall be a long journey, one you will never forget.

Does anyone know what song that was from about 2:20 to 3:30 that's played in the background?

And of course Congrats Jeff and Erin! Very Well made video, and I wish you both happiness for the rest of your lives together
apm8814   10:53 PM on 1/26/2010
Its from the movie requiem for a dream, the song is called summer overture or cleaning apartment

Congratulations (even though it's really none of my business at all, and I'm a complete stranger.. :)
This was so creative and it seems that it has been enjoyed by even more than just friends and family!

speak for yourself, homophobe.

not everyone is disgusted by gay couples. To me, they are just as normal as any other couple..two ADULT people who love each other and want to build a life and a home together.

sorry ella, i replied in the wrong place. was meant for someone else
RevMetheus   04:35 PM on 1/26/2010
I heard there are already talks of a sequel, with slightly different casting :D

Nah, I kid. This is a great save the date notice and it seems like the couple really appreciates each other's quirks. Wonderful to see. Have a life full of love and fun and adventure!

Try that kitsch with a same sex couple and see how many kudos you get. The "Awwww" turns to "Ewww", pretty quick.

I was making an observation about the "How cute" comments about the video and how it wouldn't be so if the video had depicted same sex couples (which I have performed for friends). Apologies if this wasn't crystal clear to you. I have been out and proud for 25 years. It should be noted that on such forums, jumping to conclusions seems rampant in these parts. Breathing through one's nose and pausing a bit before moving fingers over keyboard may help.

My favorite video on YouTube is still this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTvJdpkdLiw

How much fun that must've been to put that film together. Very talented who ever was behind the creation of your 'trailer'. Best wishes. Cheers.

did they get musical clearance from ASCAP? Nicely done, but over the top. predict they'll be divorced in a year.

Aren't you just a little ray of sunshine!
Pupstermum   03:39 PM on 1/26/2010
Sheesh!!! Aren't there a load of cynical dweebs on this site today. I think this was GREAT and predict these two will have a long, happy life. Did you not notice how many years they've already been together, and how obviously active they are? Man, don't come to MY wedding.

ellawensmom   05:25 PM on 1/26/2010
Dude, the trailer says they've already been together for ten years. I think they'll make it for more than one more.

pardon my jadedness, things do change once you are "married" together 10 years, as in living together, with all the faults and foibles? Also, I used to edit a lot of these high end shmoozolas. 5 out of 10 didn't make it through their first five years. But hey, I got their money. I suppose they'll have to hire Cameron to do their wedding video. fwiw i've been w/ my spouse almost 22 yrs, married 18. So I do have a concept of longevity. The "look at me" generation has so far failed in it's staying power.

Congratulations Jeff and Erin, This was truly awesome. Congratulations, you two deserve all the love and happiness. Thanks for allowing the invite of your special day to be shared by the public so that we too can enjoy a tiny sparkle of your fun-loving personalities! Because this is viewed by the public, don't allow anyone's negative to put one stain on you. Wishing you both all the best!
Springbirdgirl   01:04 PM on 1/26/2010
Very cool. With this kind of humor, they should be together for at least 50 years. Best wishes to them!

Anyone know the song and artist in the back ground during his proposal and before the heart shaped lights?

Wish them the best of luck. Very creative.
ChristineRV   01:28 PM on 1/26/2010
It's "Lucky" by Jason Mraz and Colby Caillet (not sure how to spell her name).
