Radiohead For Haiti: Benefit Show Raises $572,000 For Oxfam

Radiohead's show at The Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood last night brought in $572,000, all of which will be donated to Oxfam for Haiti relief. The band announced the show via its blog on Thursday, and all tickets were auctioned off to the highest bidder through Ticketmaster.

As the theater only fits 1,300 people, concert-goers paid an average of $440 per ticket.

Oxfam has been working in Haiti to provide food and clean water to those affected by the earthquake that hit on January 12. The organization is also encouraging world leaders to relieve Haiti of its $890 international debt, that it argues could hamper recovery efforts.
