The long-awaited 'Apple Tablet' PC is only hours away. Although all signs suggest the Apple press conference tomorrow at 10 a.m. Pacific Time is the Apple Tablet announcement, it's important to point out that Apple hasn't confirmed that.
Apple only says that it will be holding an event in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater at 1 p.m. Eastern Time and 10 a.m. Pacific Time to debut its "latest creation."
However, the invitation brings back memories of a major Apple PC of the past: when the iPod was introduced.
That product launch on Oct. 23, 2001 led to a revolution of the music industry and ubiquitousness of the device over time.
It's unclear if the Apple Tablet will have the same affect, but if the buzz is any indication, it'll be a major player.
Steve Jobs is throwing his weight behind the product that'll be unveiled tomorrow, reportedly saying that the Apple Tablet "will be the most important thing I've ever done."
The Wall Street Journal reports on the possible uses of the Apple Tablet.
